What is GLAZIER?

GLAZIER is a quiet color logic puzzle about restoring the stained-glass windows of an old cathedral, one window at a time. A small medallion sits at the head of every row and every column, showing exactly the colors that line must contain - no more, no fewer. Fit each pane so every line matches its medallion.

One more rule, taught as you play: touching panes never share a color. Between the medallions and the adjacency rule, every window has exactly one solution and it is always reachable by deduction - you never guess, and you're never punished for exploring.

How to play

A few panes were leaded in place by the old master and stay fixed. The rest are yours.
Read the medallions at the head of each row and column - they name exactly the colors that line must hold.
Pick a glass and set it into an empty pane.
Touching panes may never share a color. When two do, the seam between them glows softly until you fix it - no red, no penalty.
Every window has exactly one solution, reachable by deduction alone.
At a dead end, a free rescue points to the earliest pane holding the window back, and hints explain the deduction that decides a pane.

FAQ

What kind of puzzle is GLAZIER?: It's a constraint-based color logic puzzle. Each row and column has a medallion naming the exact multiset of colors it must contain, and no two orthogonally touching panes may share a color. If you enjoy Sudoku, Nonograms or Picross, the deduction will feel familiar - but it's played in color rather than numbers.
Does GLAZIER ever require guessing?: No. Every window is built with exactly one solution reachable by logic alone, and a free rescue will point you at the earliest wrong pane if you reach a dead end.
Is there a timer?: No timer during play, no fail state and no lives. Your solve time appears on the victory screen as a fact, not a score to beat.
Can it be played without relying on color?: Yes. Color is never the only signal - every glass has its own texture and an etched shape matched to its medallion dots, so windows can be solved by pattern alone.
